Modern Abstract Concentric Rectangle Grey & Black Area Rug, Runner & Round Rug – MR246A Grey/Black

The natural-fiber rugs, especially the jute, are the only ones I'll put in my rental apartments anymore.

Our nursery needed something round, something small, and something that wasn't pink or gray. I expected to compromise on at least one of those. The catalog goes wide enough on shapes, sizes, and colors that a 4-foot round in a pale sage showed up on the second page. Bought it that night and it's precisely the rug I had pictured.

Roughly thirty rugs in ten years, some in a temple that sees hundreds of feet a day. They hold up.

We have a back deck that gets rain blown in under the roof, so I needed something that wouldn't rot or hold water. This outdoor rug sits there, dries fast, and looks good with the furniture. Exactly what I had in mind for that spot.

My mom isn't comfortable typing card information into unfamiliar websites, so we called. The woman who answered explained the sizes and answered Mom's questions patiently. It felt like doing business with a small neighborhood store.
